The menu is printed on a folded gilt edged card with rounded corners, opening to reveal the menu on the left and thew Pipe & Brass Band Programme on the right. The rear of the menu has a photographic portrait of Captain Francis Wyatt Abbott Anderson in uniform wearing a glengarry, surrounded by pencil signatures of himself and other officers. The card is is rather soiled and splitting from the lower edge of the fold. The 3rd Ban at this time was the Dundee Highland Volunteer Battalion. Capt Abbott Anderson was a regular soldier in the Manchester Regiment in 1895 and by 1912 he was serving as a major in the King's Own Lancaster Regt. An unusual survival. By 1912 the 3rd Black Watch was based in Perth with the Duke of Atholl as its Honorary Colonel. Size: Small Octavo [4.5 x 7ins]. N° de ref. de la librería 007891
