One page, 16mo, one edge ragged, slightly crumpled, a little staining, text clear and complete. "My dear Julius, | Of course Edgar's allowance of £80 - begins 1st Apl. & first quarter is not due untill i July. Please send him £10 - for which I send you a draft. | Affly your friend | E.J. Trelawny." Edgar was Trelawny's son, about whom little appears to be known. The only Julius in Trelawny's life appears to be Julius Millingen, the German doctor who "bled Byron to death" at Missalonghi It seems unlikely that they developed a friendship.
