551 pages, frontis, illustrations, fold-out map, chipping to jacket edges, ex-library with minimal markings, rare in jacket. The first edition was published in 1909 and finding one in a jacket is rare as Ive only seen one copy. The 1911 jacket is also very rare and this is the only copy Ive seen. Dowd was mistaken in his comments about this book as there are only two pages on Indians and the Hancock expedition and Custer isn't mentioned specifically although he was there. His comments reflect Stanley's "My Early Travels." Dowd 2977. OKeefe 2280. N° de ref. del artículo 016205
