An Area of Darkness by V.S. Naipaul, Hardcover, UK Edition, 2nd Impression (November 1964). The book was first published in September 1964. This 2nd impression followed in November 1964. Book in very good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book shows very minor spine bumping, and slight ageing to the page edges. It has a bookseller's plate to the inside front cover. The dust jacket shows slight wear and ageing, including to the top of the spine. A very good, tight copy for a book of this age. (See pictures). This is the first of the author's acclaimed Indian trilogy that includes 'India: A Wounded Civilization' (1977) and 'India: A Million Mutinies Now' (1990). The book is a travelogue detailing Naipaul's trip through India during the early sixties. N° de ref. del artículo 001226
