About the Author:

Benedict Julian Baldwin was commissioned in the British Army as a Territorial Officer, and has served for 20 years in both infantry and logistic units. He has an interest in a diverse range of subjects from Chinese brush painting, sailing and skiing, to horse riding and gardening; though a pen and paper are never far from his literary hands. He has worked both in the hedonistic world of city banking and the calmer waters of central government.
