The Ambassador Bridge is an international suspension bridge that connects the cities of Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario. It was constructed by the McClintic-Marshall Company (which would go on to build the Golden Gate Bridge) between 1927 and 1929, and upon opening was the largest suspension bridge in the world. The first ten pages describe the history and major features of the bridge and the construction process.
