Descripción

Nine 13" x 16" black and white photographs mounted on white cardboard. Near fine with slight wear on the cardboard. A collection of 1960s amateur photography submitted to exhibitions and competitions by a member of New Jersey's Tri-County Camera Club. Present on the verso on each piece are stamps from where it was displayed, information about the subject itself, and stickers for various organizations. The photos include a description of the photographic techniques, author stamps, and stickers from the Tri-County Camera Club, the Art in Sussex County Exhibition, and stamps from the Illinois State Fair. Depicted in these photographs are a couple under a street lamp at night, a few scenes of a harbor, a covered bridge, and a still life of bottles. The most striking image is called, "The fair Goer," and is of a woman walking through futuristic towers at a World's Fair. Based in New Jersey, the Tri County Camera Club, or TCCC, has been active for the last 60 years bringing together photographers from Hudson, Essex and Bergen counties with an early emphasis on black and white photography, as seen here.
