WAS ESTIMABLE EMPLOYEE Many of the employees of this mill experienced a severe shock when the death was announced of Sarah Donovan of the Main Office, so brief was her illness and so unexpected was the demise, and because of the wide circle of friends that she possessed. The deceased was born in the house where she had always resided. After graduating from the grammar School and Evening High School, Miss Donovanfirst started September 45, 1911, in this mill as a clerk for Overseer Forrest in the Spinning Department. Since January 15, 1917, her desk had been in the main office. A mother, three sisters and two brothers survive. Prominent among the numerous floral tributes were offerings from the Main Office employees, the clerks of the mill and the Overseers Association. A delegation from the main office attended the funeral while all the Office Employees were present at the church services. She was estimable, generous and kind and all who knew her deeply regret her death. BEREAVED MOTHER IS GRATEFUL 109 Newton Street, Lawrence, Mass.
