Sinopsis

Sweet little Dorothy and Toto, her pet dog, are in for an unexpected adventure when the house they live in in Kansas is swept away in a cyclone to Munchkinland, a faraway place in the magical Land of Oz.
As they land in this enchanted country, their house falls on the Wicked Witch of the East, killing her! Just then, the Good Witch of the North appears and thanks Dorothy for setting the people free from the bondage.
Dorothy wants to be back home. But she is told that to return she will have to take the Wizard’ s help who lives in the Emerald City.

Acerca del autor

Lyman Frank Baum (1856-1919) was born in Chittenango, New York, and was tutored at home in his early years along with his siblings. He went to the Peekskill Military Academy at the age of twelve and returned two years later after a health crisis.
