This work is intended to give the reader an overall view of the world of the raptors through a careful reading of the book. It touches on many aspects from a modern perspective. The twenty-three chapters have a heterogeneous structure between them but are complementary as a whole. About the text: The order of the chapters responds to their theme and to a classic classification of the taxonomic order. On the bearded vulture a fantastic work is developed on the morphology of the species and this knowledge serves throughout the rest of the work. In the first chapters about the carrion birds the basic aspects of the management and study of the raptors are presented, from the anatomy to the reintroduction, passing through the points of supplementary feeding and poison. At the end of each chapter there is a basic fact sheet that can be compared and easily expanded by doing a simple search on the Internet. The purpose of the text is to show that information that is missing or is difficult to access and that I consider to be important.
