Sinopsis
The Biographical Paintings contain more than a hundred episodes, systematically and vividly depicting Phags-pas major religious and political activities. Although the painter revised the chronological order of some incidents in order to enlarge on Phags-pas life, yet in general they are in accordance with historic facts. Each scroll of The Biographical Paintings consists of a number of pictures, and the development of the story is quite painstaking. When they describe the story of a scroll, that will only deal with the most important episodes of the convenience of description. These will serve as links to present a clearer story to the viewers. The pictures on a scroll are arranged according to the development of the story. They won't comment on every historical detail as they have already given their opinions in the preceding section 'Phags-pa's Historical Merits'
