SHARON BIRKMAN became CEO of Birkman International in 2002 and has since continued to lead the company to new levels of growth and success. In 2018, she was designated a “Power 50 Woman” by the National Council for Diversity and Inclusion, received the Houston Business Journal’s “Woman Who Means Business” award, and was recognized in 2016 as an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Sharon works with her middle daughter Amy Shepley, who oversees new products and innovation, bringing Birkman International to a three-generation enterprise that looks forward to many more decades of helping people see themselves and others through caring, appreciative eyes. Outside of Birkman International, Sharon and her husband, Richard, treasure time with their grandchildren, Morgan, Declan, and Emerson.
