In 2013, I left my job of 20 years as the Director Computer Operations for Trader Joe's to pursue my dream of becoming a professional writer. One of the first things I did was to engage the services of a company to help me update my LinkedIn profile to professional standards.

They worked with me, doing an interview and a review after it was done, and produced a profile that worked well.

A year later they offered me a job as a Senior Branding Expert, and since that time I've helped several hundred people produce optimum and well-written profiles that define their personal brand.

My clients have included C-level executives of Fortune 500 companies, technicians and just about everything else in-between.

I decided to write this book because I couldn't find anything out there, a course or a book, that taught the basics in an effective and understandable manner. There are plenty of LinkedIn books on the market, but I found that many of them are different to understand or are an attempt to sell additional products and services.

This book has one goal: to help you write a great LinkedIn profile. There's no attempt to sell you on other products or services (other than a brief mention of the company that hired me to write profiles.) In other words, everything you need to succeed with your profile is contained within the book.
