Sinopsis
On the Great Plains, the buffalo has always been known as the Prince of the Prairie, and in 2016, the bison was also named the first National Mammal of the United States. This is a story about a little buffalo that watches progress bring fences and people to his home until there is no room for him. When his friends, Meadowlark and Prairie Dog, decide to head for a place where the buffalo still roam and the antelope play, Little Buffalo longs to go with them. And that s when he learns the power of friendship.

Betty Selakovich Casey is the author and illustrator of May Finds Her Way and That is a Hat. She makes her home on the Great Plains in Oklahoma.
