Edmund de Waal is a high-profile contemporary potter with an international reputation among collectors and fellow artists for his delicately thrown porcelain. His work is widely exhibited internationally and he writes and lectures on ceramics with particular emphasis on oriental makers. He is based in Camberwell, London.
