Vehicular air pollution poses the main threat to urban air quality and is therefore one of the major components of urban air quality studies. Air quality models can play an effective role in the efficient management of such pollution. This book presents various air quality modelling techniques, previously scattered throughout the literature, together with their applications. Comprehensive and well-organised, it also provides a step-by-step approach to using these models, followed by respective case studies to illustrate the points discussed. A methodology for formulating a local air quality management programme, including a discussion of the significance of different air quality models, is also featured.
