I've been doing research on the PBIS and immigration cap for almost three years now and I can only say that I wish a book like Elena Tsirlina's had been available at the time. She condenses years of policies, rules and changes in a comprehensible, easy to navigate book, complete with the evolution of the various routes. Thanks to Elena's work one no longer feels as if immigration law was an unnavigable maze. For those wanting to have a thorough grasp on immigration in the UK, whether they battle with it personally, or are conducting research on the subject, this is the equivalent of the bible. -- Valerie Hartwich, 2012 * Valerie Hartwich, 2012 * ... this (work has been) an ambitious challenge, to which the author has risen with experience, insight and exposition of the law and practice. I hope that this is a work that will prove its worth to users of the system and take its place in the library of immigration literature. -- The Hon Mr Justice Blake, President Upper Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber- in the foreword to the book * The Hon Mr Justice Blake, President Upper Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber- in the foreword to the book * The book is well researched, particularly the parts dealing with policy and development of the student routes, and well structured. Migrants, sponsors, practitioners and others concerned with this area of immigration law will find it a very useful addition. -- Duran Seddon, Garden Court Chambers * Duran Seddon, Garden Court Chambers *
