This book contains the papers presented at the 6th Fluid Structure Interaction Conference, a meeting that provided a forum for the presentation and exchange of new ideas and the latest work in the specialised field of fluid structure interaction spanning a range of problems from aero-elasticity bioengineering applications, and including a series of civil engineering problems on offshore structures, earth dams and levees. This Conference, as with previous meetings in this series, has attracted outstanding contributions collected and published in this book.
