Sinopsis
Myths is a visual and written exploration on the subject of myths. It contains contributions from writers, illustrators, designers, photographers and artists from around the world who have each responded to the theme in their own unique way.
Myths is important as it approaches the theme in various ways but also includes interviews with artists who have been inspired by myths in some way – furthering our understanding and appreciation for myths within an artistic context. The book should appeal to an audience who value aesthetics both in design terms and creative content. Acerca del autor
Gabriel Solomons is Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design at the Bristol School of Art, Media & Design. In 2001 he set up Decode Publishing, which specialises in a diverse range of projects including magazines, books, exhibitions, audio CDs, music events, workshops and consultation services. As well as continuing his practice as a graphic designer, Gabriel also divides his time as a workshop facilitator, creative advisor and design consultant for a range of clients that have included Arnolfini, Arts Council of England, Statement Media Arts, Sound Knowledge and Bath Festival Trust.
