October 2015 There are scarves of every style you can imagine in this new collection of patterns. Lace scarves, chunky, braided and looped scarves, summer shawls and snoods. But what's important here is the word 'Now' in the book's title. These are scarves for today, for the modern woman who like to look good and feel good. All the patterns here are in bright, warm and inviting colours. And they'd make great projects for old and new knitters alike. The instructions are clearly laid out and there's a guide to all the techniques needed, from the very basic ones to the more complicated. The photos in the book also provide ideas on how to wear your newly-knitted design. Knitting & Crochet August 2015 A great collection of 40 patterns from 21 different designers. Patterns are graded for difficulty. Many of the patterns are short and sweet making them easy to knit - some have just one row repeated; at least three designs have just two rows repeated, others just four rows repeated. A few have charts, some of the charts are at the back of the book. There's garter stitch, stocking stitch, reversed stocking stitch, fair-isle style, brioche, cables, lace and diagonals.
