Themes range from the experience of love and the way love changes over time, to football, from recollections of exotic places to the Lancashire countryside, from high art to nuclear physics and from politics to the petty humiliations of queuing in a supermarket and a NHS surgery.

Biografía del autor
David Singleton is Professor, University of Pannonia, Hungary and Fellow Emeritus, Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. He has published widely on second language acquisition, multilingualism and lexicology and is the series editor for the SLA series published by Multilingual Matters.
