ABOUT THE AUTHOR

New London-based children’s author Louiseee with three e’s has launched her debut book Amy the G.O.A.T in time for Children’s Book Week next month. The highly topical, light-hearted story charts the life of an awkward young girl who is grappling with her identity.

With fun illustrations by Rob Page, the entertaining story will captivate middle and upper primary children as the main character grapples with life walking on all fours after she decides to identify as a farm animal.

This book sees Louiseee with three e’s fulfil her lifelong ambition to pen a children’s book. She commented: “After completing a masters in scriptwriting, I knew I wanted to pour all my spare time into penning stories for children. My two nieces, aged five and seven, read the manuscript and their feedback was incredible. They both loved the silliness of it all. At a time when everything in society is under the microscope, I enjoy writing stories that reflect topical debates and my view on reality. Amy the G.O.A.T is a playful exploration of a serious subject that will hopefully offer insight into the
knotty world of identity.”
