Harvey Kubernik has been a noted popular music journalist and record producer for more than 30 years. He is the author of five books, including "Canyon of Dreams: The Magic and the Music of Laurel Canyon" and "A Perfect Haze: The Illustrated History of the Monterey International Pop Festival." His work has appeared in numerous anthologies and publications, including "Crawdaddy!," "Goldmine," the "Los Angeles Times," "Melody Maker," "MOJO," and "Musician." He lives in Los Angeles.
