From the Publisher:

WILDFIRE is a two book anthology of great stories by best selling romance author Christina Carlisle.

WADE'S WOMAN is set in Australia's beautiful High Country and follows the story of a clever country doctor who, not only cares for his many patients, but also for his two small children deserted by his now ex-wife.

Tara Mason is a city girl running from a frightening past. As a qualified nurse she works side by side with Ryan in his practice. When Ryan proposes a marriage of convenience so that he can fight his ex-wife for the custody of his two children, Tara accepts realising that Ryan can offer her the security she needs.

This wonderful story by Christina Carlisle delves into the deep, emotional feelings of these two strong characters as they are drawn together and gradually fall in love.

Christina has captured the multi-faceted characters of a country medical practice and all of the gossip and intrique that goes with it. A superb story!

ALASKAN FIRE whirls the reader around the world from the bustling city of Sydney to the glitz of Hollywood and then the vastness of the Alaskan wilderness.

Landing her dream job of being a television journnalist, Jessica Seymour never expected to run into trouble in the form of one of her new bosses, Sam Armstrong. Sam thinks that Jess cannot do the job she was hired for but Jess is about to prove that not only can she do the job, but also intends to make Sam eat his words.

However, it seems that the past Jess is running from has caught up with her when her abusive ex-boy friend suddenly shows up. When she uses Sam's name as a deterrent, Jess never expected Sam to take their relationship beyond that of friends. Now they can't deny the attraction between them.

Christina Carlisle's characters are mesmorising and absolutely leap from the pages!

From the Author:

WADE'S WOMAN. I have always wanted to write a story with a country medical practice background and here it is!

As well as our hero Ryan and heroine Tara, there are many characters that emerge throughout this story. People that have lived all of their lives in the harsh High Country of Australia and who are tough and obstinate, often rude, but with hearts of gold beneath the surface.

Ryan's fight to keep his children and his growing love and trust in his beautiful new wife Tara, shows the strength of his character and his many moods. Tara craves his care and the safety of the High Country but, most of all, she longs for Ryan's love.

ALASKAN FIRE. I love the world of television. It is exciting, crazy and often cut-throat. My heroine Jessica, is determined to achive and produce the best stories but seems to end up fighting with her boss Sam every step of the way.

After a diasterous marriage, Sam makes sure he keeps his distance from the opposite sex - until he meets Jessica and then he is knocked for six - and how!

The characters of Sam and Jessica were so strong in my book that they took over and wrote it themselves - spooky!

I hope you enoy reading both of these stories in my Anthology WILDFIRE.
