Sinopsis

Acerca del autor

C. L. R. James (1901 - 1989), who was born and raised in colonial Trinidad at the turn of the 20th century and who spent most of his adult life in Britain and the United States, was one of the most significant writers of our times, a fierce critic of imperialism, and a stalwart foe of Stalinism. His other books include Beyond a Boundary and The Black Jacobins, a brilliant account of the Haitian Revolution of the 1790s.
