Acerca del autor

Roger Watt is Professor of Psychology at University of Stirling, a post he has held for over two decades. He was elected FRSE in 1995 for his research in visual perception and his leadership contribution to Psychology. He has taught statistics in various different ways for many years and currently it is his main teaching role. He has presented his work on teaching statistics to the HEA, the QAA and the BPS.

Elizabeth Collins is a 1st class graduate and prize-winner of the Psychology degree programme at University of Stirling. She has been very much involved in innovative teaching and learning methods at Stirling Psychology for which the department was awarded the inaugural BPS award for Innovation in Psychology Programmes. That award reflected in part the way in which students like Elizabeth took on some of the teaching of statistics to their peers and immediate juniors whilst undergraduate students themselves. Elizabeth has presented her work on innovative teaching of statistics to the BPS Annual Conference (2014). She is currently starting an ESRC funded PhD to study the psychological processes involved in learning and teaching statistics
