Please note this book references AASHTO LRFD 6th edition and is not the latest standard for the SE Exam. Later editions of this book reference the current SE Exam AASHTO code. Updates for errors in this book have also been discontinued. This book combines the two previously published books Bridge Problems for the Structural Engineering (SE) Exam: Vertical Loads and Bridge Problems for the Structural Engineering (SE) Exam: Lateral Loads into a single volume. It is a comprehensive study guide containing 80 multiple choice bridge questions with detailed solutions for the Vertical and Lateral Components of the NCEES SE Exam. It is specifically written for the "building" structural engineer that does not commonly design bridges in everyday practice, but must have basic knowledge of bridge design for the SE Exam. Biografía del autor
David Connor, SE, PE is currently a structural engineer for Haines, Gipson, and Associates in Lawrenceville, GA and resides in Greenville, SC. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his Master’s Degree from the University of South Carolina. He has been a registered PE in Georgia since 2002, and passed the 16-Hour NCEES Structural Engineering Exam in 2014 on his first try.
