This cognitive training tool is part of a series of cognitive training books, which we entitled COGWEB EXERCISE BOOKS®. The structure of the books approaches training over several cognitive domains, such as memory, executive functions, attention, and others. The exercises were grouped in sets, aimed at a daily training activity, and they are split into different levels of difficulty. The levels are: easy (level 1), medium (level 2) and hard (level 3).This particular book includes exercises whose difficulty level has been conceived for people with cognitive disabilities which may go from light to moderate dementia. Cátia C. Mateus was born in Matosinhos, Portugal, in 1982. She graduated in Psychology from the Lusíada University of Porto in 2004. She finished her Masters in Psychology, specializing in “Psychology and Neuropsychology of language”, by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto in 2011. She collaborated on research projects in the area of neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular diseases. Rehabilitation and cognitive stimulation are her main research interests. She was a researcher on a scientific project funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, taking place at the Neuropsychology Laboratory of the Neurology Department of the Hospital Center of Entre Douro e Vouga, Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal. Currently, she collaborates with the Neuropsychology Laboratory of the Neurology Department of the Hospital Center of Entre Douro e Vouga and the Neuropsychology Department of the COGWEB CLINIC at Neuroinova.
