Tired of learning the same old fingerstyle things? I know how you feel. Maybe I have something for you! Acoustic Steps is a book for intermediate fingerstyle guitar players who want to take their fingerstyle technique to the next level. It’s a practical program that will help you with fingerstyle technique, chords, rhythm and melody. When I wrote the book (now also a popular video course) I wanted to create a program that could take you from playing plain chords to awesome fingerstyle melodies. This is what this book does! Each of the 14 stages has three different levels and a warm up. The beginner level teaches you the chord progression, the intermediate level add a rhythmic pattern to the chord progression you just learned and the advanced level challenges you with a melody. There are two bonuses stages where you can learn Cascading scales and practical tapping. All the info, videos and free lessons about this book at blitzgutiar.com. Less browsing more playing! Do you want to take your fingerstyle further?Well you should definitely check this out. There is a useful video support at www.blitzguitar.com where you can watch the content of all the 14 stages so you know what you are buying. Acoustic Steps is a practical book for fingerstyle guitar. Suitable for intermediate and advanced guitar players that want to improve fingerstyle, chords, creativity and fluidity. The book is organized in stages. Each stage has a warm up and three different levels: Beginner, intermediate and advanced. The Warm Up: These are not common warm ups. I refer to them as an introduction to the stage. They follow the same key and have roughly the same positions and chords. A 15mins warm up is recommended! The Beginner level: You will learn the chords and positions. I would highly recommend you practice the beginner level quite a lot in order to memorize the left hand chords. The right hand follows always the same plucking pattern P-i-m-a. The Intermediate level: It’s time to work on the rhythm. Same chords but with rhythmic variations. The right hand uses a more complex plucking pattern and the chords sound richer. Start from this level only if you are an advanced player. The Advanced level: Let’s play some music!! This level implement chords extensions as well as rhythm variations. A tone of useful techniques are used: Grace notes, natural and artificial harmonics, percussive approach, thumb slap, hammer on and pull off technique. You will love it! Hot Strings: Two chapters are dedicated to Cascading Scales and Tapping. Burning Strings: The last four stages are a compound of all the techniques learned in this book. Each of this little “piece” has been written following a specific style. Quite challenging! About the Author Hey guys my name is Marco Cirillo. I am an Italian guitar player based in London.
