I know it sounds crazy...but cancer, for me, was an interesting and wonderful experience and I wouldn't give up that year for anything!! This is a light-hearted story about my life in the year 2000. It mostly contains humorous stories and personal adventures that made that one of the best years of my life. But the book is also somewhat informative about what was involved with my treatment for breast cancer at the time. There were many suprisingly odd and humorous circumstances surrounding my treatment, and I want people to know how much fun I had throughout the whole process and how it changed my life for the better.

Cheryl E. Gray grew up in the fairly small town of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan where she received her Bachelor of Science degree at Cemtral Michigan University in the areas of computer science and mathematics. She subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and has been an attorney for the last eighteen years handling personal injury and social security disability cases. Cheryl was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 1999, which launched her into an adventurous year to follow which helped her to become aware of how much her positive attitude and sense of humor could eliminate obstacles in all aspects of her life. This is her first book, but she is in the process of writing a fictional novel and hopes to become an author on a full time basis. Cheryl presently lives in the don't-blink-or-you'll-miss-it town of Lake, Michigan with her cat, Peanut, where they enjoy the serene surroundings of the flora and fauna that Eight Point Lake has to offer.
