Citygirl, Rianne Liberty, is young, beautiful, smart and ambitious. While working for her father's insurance agency, she meets exactly the kind of men she's attracted to. Men like Edward, who are well-dressed, handsome and educated.
Pampered and protected by her family and friends, her life is ideal, until in the blink of an eye everything she holds dear is taken away from her.
Kidnapped and held captive in complete isolation, Rianne encounters real evil for the first time in her life. Completely depended on the moods and actions of her tormentor, she struggles thru the days. Days in which she's terrified, humiliated, and brutally raped. After a vicious confrontation, she desperately makes her escape into the vast terrain that surrounds the drab, little cabin where she's been kept for months.
Finding herself in an ancient forest that contains challenging rivers, majestic volcanoes and a variety of wildlife, she makes her way through the undeveloped wilderness. But with three children in tow, will she ever find her way home when she can't even see the forest for the trees?
