9781463709747: The Wicked Education Of Henry Holliday: a comic novel of magic, mayhem, and musicals

The Wicked Education Of Henry Holliday is a work of fiction; a comic novel based upon the age old Faustian tale - but with a gay twist.

Ever want something so bad that you'd be willing to sell your soul? That's precisely what Henry Holliday does in his quest to spend one glorious night with the man of his dreams. Along the way, he encounters a wide collection of bizarrely humorous characters; including a muscle-bound-leather-clad hunk who sings soprano, a set of "Siamese" twins, a beer swilling waif, a tone deaf child with a determination to sing, and the very "Devil" himself! He also learns that things are not always what they seem; He learns how important it is for a man, quickly approaching middle age, to finally grow up; He learns to be careful what you wish for; He learns that Musical Comedy is not a lifestyle!

"The Wicked Education of Henry Holliday" is a madcap fantasy novel; a comic retelling of the age old "Faustian" tale, with a gay twist. It is also pays homage to the American Broadway Musical as the reader discovers and uncovers many references humorously peppered throughout tale; much of which takes place backstage during the run of a Broadway Musical Comedy (that is, when it's not taking place in a popular Greenwich Village gay bar).
