Primrose Cottage - Tapa blanda

Muddle-cum-Snoring is a Shangri La-esque village set in a time warp somewhere in Middle England. The local inhabitants have the idea that they control the universe from a local committee who meet in Primrose Cottage, but the Tea Lady who comes in and "does" for them appears to have more influence than they do. Fresh blood recently introduced into the village sparks off a series of travels for the "Innocents Abroad" who get involved with the Russian Mafia/KGB, the Gold Bullion Robbery gang and subsequently two undercover nymphomaniacal CID policewomen. Based on the "Ignorance is Bliss" syndrome the villagers blunder their way around the world, getting caught up in drugs, prostitution, kidnapping, murder and of course love and romance but always there is some sort of Fairy Godmother/Tea Lady there to get them out of trouble.
