Excerpt: Caving in Tunisia is a relatively rare sport in the country. Caving emerged in the late 1970s and includes a limited number of practitioners. Tunisia has a number of sites suitable for the sport. The caving club of Bizerte began in 1979, in the youth house in the city, and particularly aroused the interest of the club Youth Science Bizerta.
