History of "We Believe":

We Believe has been in publication for nearly 20 years now and has sold over 70,000 copies. It was first published in 1994 in a single volume of 1208 pages. This first edition included declarations from the Scriptures and latter-day prophets and apostles up to the mid 1980s. When it was first released, the LDS Church placed a copy in every LDS Seminary and Institute worldwide. Since 1994 it has gone through 12 printings. In 2008 it went through a major revision and update in which declaration after the mid-1980s were added as well as many others throughout Church history. Hundreds of new declarations were added which expanded the work to nearly 1,600 pages and forced us to split it into 2 volumes. At this time We Believe was also developed into and eBook for use on computers and mobile devices.
