After several decades as a Christian minister, counselor and life coach, Diane Bennett, M.A., is confident that humor and laughter are essential nutrients for the human spirit. Ms. Bennett resides in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire, more than two hours away from the Maine Coast where she lived for fourteen years. She treasures the opportunities to return and refresh by the sea. On one of these visits Down East, she was among the eyewitnesses to the discovery of the Sea Squirrel. A persistent inner nudge to reveal the story prompted Ms. Bennett to step out of her usual professional pursuits; so she published the Maine Coast Lore Guide,The Secret Life of the Elusive Sea Squirrel, using the non de plume Dee Scriber. When she is not discovering elusive marine creatures Diane Bennett maintains active ministry and life coaching, tends abundant plants, two cats, and looks forward to more special times on the Coast of Maine.
