Now in its second year, bosque showcases the work of Southwest writers, poets, and artists, as well as the international winners of the annual bosque fiction contest. This year, bosque welcomes award-winning poet Hilda Raz as our poetry editor, and noted novelist Beverly Lowry as our fiction contest judge. The first issue of bosque is still available and is sold on our site.

Biografía del autor:

Even before they joined forces to start ABQ Writers Co-Op in 2010, offering classes and community for southwestern writers, Lynn C. Miller and Lisa Lenard-Cook had made names for themselves as both writers & teachers. Their first book together, Find Your Story, Write Your Memoir, will be published by University of Wisconsin Press in March 2013.Lisa Lenard-Cook is the author of the award-winning "Dissonance" and "Coyote Morning," and "The Mind of Your Story," a book about fiction writing. Her short fiction and essays have been published in numerous journals, including "The Southwest Review" and "Puerto del Sol." Lisa was a member of the English department faculty at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado throughout the 1990's. She's a faculty member at the Santa Barbara Writers Conference, Narrative Art Center in Santa Fe, Writerseducation.com, and The Writer's Garret in Dallas.Lynn C. Miller is author of the novels "The Fool's Journey" and "Death of a Department Chair" and co-editor of "Voices Made Flesh: Performing Women's Autobiography." Stories and plays have appeared in "North Dakota Quarterly," "Phoebe," "Hawaii Review," and "Text and Performance Quarterly." Lynn has taught writing and performance at the University of Southern California, The Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Texas at Austin where she was professor of theatre and women's studies.
