I invite you to come along with me on my swim down 557 miles of the Clearwater, Snake, and Columbia rivers. All my friends told me I was crazy to try it and I had serious doubts myself; but there was some driving force compelling me to pick up the gauntlet. Once I committed, there was no retreat.
Then came the challenges of the rivers with their physical tests and dangerous surprises. I couldn't have imagined the bizarre situations and circumstances I would encounter as I attempted to beat Lewis and Clark's time from their starting point at Canoe Campsite in Idaho, to the Pacific Ocean.
It was a life changing adventure and I'm pleased to share it with you. I hope you enjoy the journey.About the Author:

His 35-year diving career was full of exciting expeditions and adventures. In addition to his many exploits, he taught commercial and technical diving at three Seattle area colleges.
