Once listed, this will be only the second signed copy for sale anywhere on the Internet. If you prefer to buy the other it will cost you only $240.00, and it's not clear this other book has a dust jacket. You can see the very impressive covers of this book in the photos I have provided. Beautiful front cover, very bright gilt design. Very bright gilt lettering on the spine. The covers appear to be perfectly clean, and I'm not seeing any wear that needs to be called out. The cover edges and corners are in excellent shape, no rubbing. The page edges are perfectly clean. The book is square and the spine is straight. The binding is very solid from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The pages are exceptionally clean. I'm not seeing any soiling. That includes the white inside covers and end papers. The pages are semi-glossy and have a slight bit of toning off their edges. They also have some light rippling off their middle edges. There are no tears anywhere. There are no placeholder creases, no corner creases. There are no markings. No attachments of any kind. And the aforementioned signature (on the blank front end paper) represents the only writing to be found anywhere in the book. There are a good number of illustrations throughout. They are all in excellent condition. The dust jacket is in excellent condition. It is very clean. It has a little bit of the clouding on the rear cover that one often sees with black covers. I don't see any soiling on the jacket. There is only the tiniest bit of wear, a bit of crinkling at and around the spine ends. There are no tears on the jacket. The flaps are also black.
