SEVEN VIDEOS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE - an overview for each lesson! Each video can be accessed via a QR code at the beginning of each lesson.
This self-study guide enables new believers to advance quickly in their newfound relationship with Jesus Christ. Many young Christians who have given their lives to the Lord do not know what to do next. Many more mature believers do not know what to do with young believers, other than invite them to church. As a result, the church is full of aging Christians who have never been discipled and are still spiritual babes. This lack of discipleship has negatively impacted our culture; where we should be seeing the effect of salt and light in our society, we are seeing cultural decay and moral darkness.
Wow! What Just Happened to Me? seeks to reverse this trend by placing a Bible study discipleship tool in the hands of the new believer that covers the fundamentals of their newfound faith. The study guide is also designed for more mature believers to regularly meet with new believers and go over the material.
The seven lessons lead the new believer to understand what has just transpired in his/her life. It lays the foundation of the believer's union with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The lesson material deals with the death of the old Adamic nature and the birth of the new divine nature. It details the distinction between the spirit and the soul and describes the importance of water baptism and Holy Spirit baptism. Finally, the study guide points to seven ways the young believer can continue growing in Christ. The discipleship lessons cover seven basic topics: Born Again, Death & Resurrection, The New Nature, Spirit, Soul & Body, Water Baptism, The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and Growing on Christ. This new-believers study guide follows the format of a two-page lesson on each topic followed by a two-page, self-paced Bible study on each topic. An Answer Key and a Bible-reading guide are provided at the back of the workbook for self-checking.
