Lord Lucan: Africa a New Beginning

9780956533739: Lord Lucan: Africa a New Beginning
Reseña del editor:

Thursday 7th November 1974, was a day like any other for most people. For the 7th Earl of Lucan (Richard John Bingham) the course of his life dramatically changed for ever. That evening Lady Lucan burst in to the Plumbers Arms, in a 'bloody' state. The nanny to the three Lucan children, Mrs Sandra Rivett lay dead. Her body stuffed in a United States mail sack, in the basement of the Lucan family home, just yards away. Lord Lucan (a gambler) forced to take his chance, disappeared in to the night. Lady Lucan would later accuse her husband of Murder. In Court in his absence, he would be named a Murderer. Little did the few people present, in the public house that night, realise that this was the beginning of a man hunt, that would last for many, many years. Interviewed after the murder, Lady Lucan was asked what she thought had happened to her husband. I don't think he'll come back, he will have made another life for himself. What happened to Lord Lucan, after the 7th November, has been the subject of much speculation. There have been sightings of him in almost every Country in the World. The most credible being recorded in Africa. The author has spent thirty seven years, investigating this case. This book is a fascinating real life account, of his search for Lord Lucan.
