Yoga Vinyasas for Improvers is made up of three progressive 26 minute sessions that are suitable for those looking to move on from a beginner level. Each session first instructs a series of postures, the postures are then linked to the breath before the pace is increased until they are performed in true vinyasa style using one breath per movement. Each of the Yoga Vinyasas for Improvers sessions will shape and tone all of the major muscle groups, reduce excess body fat and focus and clear the mind. The first session instructs postures such as Downward Dog with variations, Upward Dog, Plank and Long Lunges. The second session features the eight point salutation and the third session instructs a series of postures based on a Sivananda style sun salutation with some variations. Together the sessions form a progressive series that builds in pace and intensity. Each session uses clear, easy-to-follow expert instruction combined with a different atmospheric background music track. The sessions are devised and instructed by Sue Fuller and were recorded in a professional sound studio.
