Contains a very short introduction followed by chapters on the pioneers of modern striping. After that there are sections on the USA, Europe and Japan & Australia. There is also an appendix and glossary of terms. With its black cloth boards, red endpapers, and superb colour illustrations, this is a beautifully curated publication. Condition: overall very sound - dust jacket (dj) has very slight edge wear and a small amount of sticker residue in the top right-hand corner. Similarly, the top right-hand corner of the front end paper has a slight smudge/area of fading. There is just a hint of tanning internally at the margins of some of the non-coloured pages, (which are few). pp. 189/245 mm x 300 mm. Questions/requests for further photos welcomed.
