How Animals Heal Themselves

Críticas:

This book is nothing short of amazing. Some might be tempted to call Caroline a modern day Dr. Dolittle, but that would be a gross misrepresentation, for Ingraham does not speak to the animals and tell them how to treat their ailments, her healing art is in listening and watching them choose what and how much to treat themselves with. This holistic approach to animal health care is the crystallization of Caroline s professional experience, the wisdom of centuries of human experimentation with medicinal plants and modern science. As a zoologist, long involved in the scientific study of animal self-medication in the wild, I am grateful to Caroline who has taken an active role in successfully putting the discipline to practical use. --Michael Huffman, Associate professor, Kyoto University

Caroline Ingraham, is the longest practicing Applied Zoopharmacognosy practitioner and is in an ideal position to write this valuable book. Not only does she draw from her thirty years experience, she brings us research in her field to back up her work. I found this book fascinating. In it, Caroline deals with conditions that are very difficult to treat satisfactorily and fully using conventional medicine. Used carefully, in consultation with an Applied Zoopharmacognosy practitioner and veterinary surgeon, this book could help countless animals. I applaud her hard work and generosity in codifying the responsible use of Zoopharmacognosy in the veterinary sphere. --Nick Thompson, Holistic Vet

Watching Caroline work is awe-inspiring; results can be astounding and many animals have been cured where conventional medicine had failed. We should be ever grateful to Caroline for sharing her life s dedication in this wonderful and profound book. It is filled with her trusted experience and knowledge, is practical and will be, for many, transformational, and accounts of individual cases are moving, to say the least. An incredible journey for you and your animals awaits. --Sarah Drawbridge, Holistic Vet
