("backpack pockets are a great temptation to a thief."). On page 61 the trail commentaries begin for Peru and on page 146 for Bolivia. Learn about roles played by Don Victor Delagado and Alfredo Ferreyos. Learn the distinctions between Cordillera Blanca, Cordillera Huayhuash, and Cordillera Real. Read about : Cerro Keya Keyam, Checacupe, Colpapampa, Choro, La Cumbre, Chojlla, and Chilca. Text is assisted by plenty of maps - both local (cities) and regional ( Olleros to Chavin). Also by b/w photographs and b/w drawings (Inca ruins, e.g.) Cond : Paper wrapper is white with green decoration and black lettering. Front cover graphic is of a solitary trekker in the Cordillera Huayhuash. One soft fore corner, edges shgarp, spine fine. Colours bright, binding tight.
