The authors, a psychologist and a lawyer, examine these requirements from a Canadian perspective, using the guidelines established in the Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists, to offer a comprehensive presentation of ethical awareness, professional knowledge and skills. Case studies illustrate specific moral concerns and discussion questions highlight the complexity of the issues. About the Author:

Derek Truscott is an Associate Professor in Counselling Psychology in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Alberta.

Kenneth Crook is a trial lawyer with a Vancouver law firm who has lectured and written extensively in the areas of insurance law, civil procedure, and medical malpractice.
