Hans Holbein Ilustrador. 12 mo, unpaged, with the 41 woodcuts designed by Hans Holbein and first published in the 1538 Lyons edition of "The Dance of Death", here reproduced in facsimile, with accompanying texts in Latin, English and French. Ths is one of 950 copies of the trade edition and also number 97 of 100 copies reserved for members of the Cygnet Press. There were also 70 copies of the deluxe edition. The book was conceived and designed by Katharine Homans and Amy Turner Montague, who printed it together at the Godine Press. There are introductory essays by Philip Hofer and by Amy Turner Montague.
