James J. Adrian, Ph.D., PE, CPA, is a recognized worldwide expert on the measurement and improvement of construction productivity. Through his work as a professor of Civil Engineering and Construction at Bradley University, the Associated General Contractors named Dr. Adrian National Construction Educator of the Year in 1996. As president of Adrian International LLC and Construction Systems Co., he provides consulting services to the construction industry and residential builders. He has been the author of a bimonthly newsletter titled Improving Construction Productivity for nineteen years.
