From the Publisher:

- Encourages child to use visual skills to peek through holes. - Develops fine motor skills (child can set the book on the floor so it will stand or as the

child takes the book apart and then tries to put it back together) - Designed for child to interact with the book in a physical way. - Develops relational concepts as parent encourages child to look through the holes (on

top, inside, outside, in front, or behind). - Encourages child to notice details in size, shape, colour, and function (parent asks child - can you find something that is green, red and blue and slithers in the grass?) - Green-eyed Monster provides opportunities for child to classify objects, animals, or

functions as they appear on separate pages. - Combines printed word with picture this connecting written language to illustrations -

print becomes meaningful.
