Reseña del editor:
First published in 1983, this renowned practical book remains essential reading for anyone working on or building competition cars of all types, including circuit, rally and hillclimb cars from Formula 750 to Formula. The core of this classic book, revered throughout the motorsport world, remains unchanged in order to retain all the unique character and authority of the original, but a special feature of this 30th anniversary edition is a new introduction by the late author's son, Darrell Staniforth, who runs a well-respected rally preparation business and has worked for the Ford WRC rally team.
Biografía del autor:
A highly popular figure wherever he appeared, Allan Staniforth was one of Britain's true motorsport characters and was still competing in his single-seater, motorcycle-engined hillclimb car just weeks before he died in May 2009 at the age of 84. Until his retirement, he was a journalist on the Daily Mirror, although his day job was very much a means to finance his love of motorsport. His contribution towards helping would-be competition car designers and competitors better understand the workings of their cars cannot be underestimated.
